Children First provides high quality services to Sarasota County’s most income-eligible backgrounds children and families.
You can lend a helping hand in any of the following ways:
Babies Rock Volunteer
Rocking, holding, feeding, and caring for our infants.
Classroom Helper
Aid our teachers in all aspects of the learning environment.
Multilingual Volunteer
Work with children, families, and staff in different languages.
Office Buddy
Help various departments with office/computer tasks.
Kitchen Aide
Assist our Kitchen Staff during breakfast, lunch, or snack time.
FUNdraising
Join a committee or volunteer to help us at our signature FUNdraising events.
Special Events
Participate in special activities like gardening, singing, dancing or reading!
Families First Initiative
Help with our signature evening classes by being a mentor or assisting with childcare.
Off-Site Volunteer
As an Off-Site Volunteer, you can make a difference from wherever you are by creating something special for our program and students. Whether it’s quilting, sewing, making storybooks, or designing projects that enrich student and family experiences, your creativity can bring joy and inspiration into our classrooms. This role allows you to share your passions in meaningful, hands-on ways that support learning, spark imagination, and enhance student engagement.
