Raise Your Hand Campaign
Thank you to all who invested in our community with a gift to the Raise Your Hand Campaign! This initiative began in 2016 after a community assessment highlighted more intense needs in local children and families. It became clear that program changes were necessary to meet these emerging needs, and the below goals were defined.
Campaign Goals:
- Extend Emotional and Behavioral Support
- Increase Individualized Classroom Attention
- Intensify Family Advocacy Services
- Serve More Children and Families in Need
As a result of the campaign, which exceeded its $3.8 million goal, at-risk children and their families are benefiting from enhanced services in addition to the same core programs that lead them toward success.
When you raise your hand for Children First, you provide families with the guidance and tools they need to escape poverty and build better lives 
When you raise your hand for Children First, you help at-risk children and families gain the skills and confidence they need to reach their dreams 
When you raise your hand for Children First, you help provide education and caring support for at-risk children and their families. 
When you raise your hand for Children First, you give income-eligible backgrounds children in our community the education, nutrition and healthcare they need to succeed in kindergarten 
When you raise your hand for Children First, you give income-eligible backgrounds children the early education they need to succeed in school and in life 
When you raise your hand for Children First, you help at-risk children to get the early education proven to build better, more successful lives 
When you raise your hand for Children First, you help struggling parents find a path to success while their young children receive critical early education
