Children First invites you to join us for an educational workshop designed to help families better understand common childhood illnesses and injuries. Learn when it’s appropriate to visit your pediatrician or the emergency room, and discover practical tips for managing certain conditions at home.
This event is part of our participation in the Health Care Institute (HCI), an initiative in partnership with the UCLA Anderson School of Management and the National Center on Early Childhood Health and Wellness. As one of the Head Start programs selected nationwide, Children First is working to empower families with knowledge, tools, and resources to prevent disease and promote sustainable, healthy lifestyles.
The HCI aims to improve health outcomes for children, families, and staff while supporting school readiness and strengthening our community through increased health literacy.
